In the Headlights

I completely missed out on sharing President’s Day activities with you this year. So, what comes next? Springtime is looming around the corner. Why am I sad about Spring?

THE POLLEN! We are a household of allergy sufferers. We hide inside during pollen season. But here are some ideas for Spring Activities that won't have you reaching for the tissues:

  • Springtime bulletin boards:
    • April Showers Bring May Flowers - Use cutouts of raindrops, umbrellas, and flowers, and some quotes about the beauty of spring and rain.
    • Insects and Bugs - Use cutouts of different insects and bugs, such as butterflies, ladybugs, and bees, to create a colorful and educational theme with some fun facts about each insect.
    • Earth Day - April 22nd is Earth Day, and it’s a great opportunity to teach students about the importance of taking care of our planet. Use cutouts of the Earth, trees, and recycling symbols.
    • Spring Sports - Use cutouts of sports equipment, athletes, and fields to create a fun and dynamic theme.
  • Coloring activities:
    • I know Earth Day isn't until April, but here's a fun coloring sheet to prepare ahead of time. Feel free to change the words to fit your class.

Let me know what you want to see next :)

Talk to you soon!
